Consultec becomes Elecosoft!
After more than 40 years under the name Consultec, the company changes its name to Elecosoft. This is part of an aggressive strategy where both the continued development of the Swedish market and international establishment is high on the agenda.
– Our owners are investing very aggressively with a clear ambition to become an established brand internationally, and our products are extremely important in the effort. As part of this effort, we have taken the decision to come together under a common international brand – the group’s name Elecosoft, says Julia Hedlund , the company’s Sales and Marketing Director .
– This is an initiative which is very logical and follows the company’s and the Group’s overall strategy and development. The last few years have been eventful and challenging for us. Today we are part of a group with companies in different places in Europe that is becoming more and more valuable portfolio of products. To have a common name will facilitate and streamline the internationalization process and ultimately be very valuable to us, says Anders Karlsson, CEO of the company.
The legal name Elecosoft Consultec AB will not be affected by the change. The change does not affect any organization or product portfolio. Elecosoft will consist of the same company, products, services and employees as before.
