We’re excited to congratulate Maine Stair Company on winning Best Curved Stairway – Artisan and the People’s Choice Award at this year’s SMA Annual Conference and Staircraft Awards Competition! These well-deserved recognitions celebrate their exceptional craftsmanship, creative vision, and eye for design.
As part of the process, Maine Stair used Staircon to support the design and production of the award-winning staircase — including generating full-scale prints that helped streamline the build. We’re proud that Staircon could be a small part of their journey, helping to bring their artistry to life.
It’s always inspiring to see what skilled stair builders can achieve, and we’re happy to support companies like Maine Stair as they turn unique designs into reality.
Congratulations once again to the talented team at Maine Stair Company!

We are proud to welcome Havnar Træsmiðja as our first customer in the Faroe Islands! After evaluating various options, they have chosen to switch from their current software to Staircon for their stair manufacturing. They see many advantages to Staircon and feel that the software is significantly easier and more intuitive to work with, which will ultimately streamline their processes. We look forward to a long-term collaboration with Havnar Træsmiðja and to support their journey with Staircon. A warm welcome!

To make our customers’ business as efficient, productive and profitable as possible, we are constantly developing our Staircon software for stair design and manufacturing. We currently have a big focus on future-proofing the software and are therefore building the future Staircon on a modern platform, especially developed with future features and technology in mind.
Already today, our existing customers EMS license have the privilege of testing and using the first functions that are already in place in the new software. The first prerelease contains the features you need to draw sectional stairs. Gradually, more and more functions will be added until we reach – and surpass – the functionality found in Staircon Classic.
Highlighted features in the new Staircon
The current Staircon changes its name but lives on
The original version will be renamed Staircon Classic and will remain in its current form until all its features are added in the new Staircon.
Staircon Classic has served stair manufacturers worldwide for the last 20 years, and that’s something we’re very proud of. And with the future Staircon within reach, we are confident that we can do it for the next 20 years as well.
In the video we go through the biggest differences between the Staircon Classic and the new Staircon.

“I will miss our customers in the UK but I’m confident that they will be well taken care of by my colleagues. I’m now very excited to meet and support our customers locally here in Australia and New Zealand”, Sarah says.
